So you’ve made the decision to add a new furry, member to your family – congratulations! At OneMind Dogs, we want to help all dogs around the world have happy lives. A big part of this is helping people to understand their dogs better.

Let’s talk a little bit about puppy training

Dogs see the world in a very different way than humans, and our world can seem complicated and confusing to them. They might occasionally try to deal with it in ways that are natural for dogs, but not always ok in the human world. To make the lives of your puppy and your family as enjoyable as possible, you’ll need to teach some basic skills for your dog.

This is why we created OneMind Dogs Puppy Training. It helps you to understand the dog’s point of view and how to train your dog in the most efficient way. When you understand how your dog communicates and what motivates it, dog training isn’t actually that hard.

A shared language for you and your dog

Dogs are champions of body language: it’s how they communicate with each other. The more natural something is for a dog, the quicker he will learn it.

Listening to words is not as natural for dogs as following our gestures. That is why we use body language in many of the OneMind Dogs Puppy Training exercises before we introduce a verbal cue. We’ll teach you how to use body language so that your puppy will understand you naturally. Verbal communication is natural for humans, and through this course, your puppy will also learn verbal cues for different behaviors.

Dogs do things that benefit them. We will help you recognize what your dog wants the most, and use that in your training.

The key to having a well-behaved, obedient dog is to become the most interesting person in the world for your dog. OneMind Dogs Puppy Training can help you with this.
